A UPIKE student is being featured in an upcoming book. Tori Breeding, junior, is being showcased as an example of eye sight and optics in a newly written book by KYCO professor George Asimellis about visual optics.
The book hopes to inform people about the different types of visual optics and glasses. The portion featuring Breeding is about the differences in eye glasses and their lenses effects.
“It was amazing to learn about my optical condition. Being able to see my eyes in a different lens and see how my glasses invert the things around me to help me see was one of the coolest things I have experienced,” Breeding, said. She is a featured model in the book.
The book by Asimellis, associate professor at the college of optometry, hopes to highlight information about the visual optic field.
