Esports competes in big tournament

Esports team will be traveling to Iowa on March 2. They will be competing in a League of Legends tournament. The prize pool will be $10,000 in scholarship money. Additionally, if they place in the top 3 teams, they will be rewarded with $2,000 of Adidas merchandise. There will be teams there from all around the nation competing for this grand prize.
“Esports is great in building team skills and growing the school’s sport portfolio. Esports is still a new thing in many people’s minds, but I can see it quickly becoming an internationally recognized sport,” said Braydon Sode, junior.
