Honors Program hosts trivia night

Last week was another successful What’s Up Wednesday (WuW) on the University of Pikeville’s campus. The UPIKE Honors Program hosted a trivia night for WuW on Jan. 31. The UPIKE Honors Program did not let the students go hungry as it provided free wings for those who attended.
There were almost 200 students who participated. Adam Hotelling, freshman and a member of the UPIKE Honors Program, served as host. There were many prizes awarded to the winning teams including UPIKE t-shirts, mugs, and gift cards.
“Trivia night was an amazing way to test our knowledge with our friends. I hope we can do another event like this in the future,” said Skylar Chapman, sophomore.
The Honors Program leaders and members came early for set-up and stayed after to help clean up after the event. This is the first event held by the newly established University of Pikeville Honors Program.
“My team didn’t win, but we had a great time competing against other smart teams. The wings were also a great addition,” said Tori Dillon, junior at the University of Pikeville.
