Worship team sparks

The annual “Worship on the Hill” celebration took place on Wednesday, Nov. 11. The 737 worship band performed several worship songs and the Haiti Mission Team informed the audience about their mission.
During this event, Rob Musick, chaplain and instructor of religion, said that the Haiti Mission Team will be returning to Haiti to help build a school.
“All kids deserve a shot at education,” Musick said. “We should be thankful for our blessings, our school, and our everyday luxuries. These are things that the people of Haiti do not have,”
Students in attendance appreciated the event and the worship team’s message.
“I think it’s wonderful that these people are so dedicated and willing to help the people of Haiti. It restores my faith in humanity,” Jesse Bates, senior, said.
