Bear’s Growl: Pray for Paris
0By Aaron Asbury
CNN reports that more than 100 people have died in France since the synchronized attacks in Paris on Friday, Nov. 13.
Since the announcement, there has been an enormous public outcry of support with France’s national colors flying on many major world landmarks and millions of Facebook photos.
People are banding together on social media in support of those who are facing what is likely the worst moment of their lives not only in France, but Beruit and Baghdad, where terrorists also stole innocent lives.
In these moments, we see the best of people. We also see the worst.
Many people take these events, the work of crazed, radicalized monsters and attribute them to all who may be somewhat similar. Some people blame those who had nothing to do with the attacks nor the attackers save sharing a religion or ethnic origin.
We have to remember that in the midst of these attacks. We must not let those seeking to cause panic and seed hatred win. #PrayForParis #PrayForTheWorld
