Biology Club spooks campus

The University of Pikeville Biology Club hosted its annual scary Haunted Lab Friday, Oct. 27 and Saturday, Oct. 28.
Four floors of the Armington Learning Center were included in the Haunted Lab, and it turned out to be another success. Each floor was overhauled with black tarps covering the windows, and the ceiling looked like it was falling in with missing tiles and things were all over the walls. Many jumped from creepy volunteers such as clowns and scary scientists. This year, there were fewer volunteers, but it did not change the lasting outcome of how fun the experience was.
The Biology Club puts on this activity every year to raise funds for its activities. This is the club’s biggest fundraiser.
“For it being a small cast of people being involved in the scaring, this year was a fun time nonetheless. I really hope they continue doing this around every Halloween,” said Lauren Vice, senior.
