Homecoming Week ended with students dressing up for the Homecoming dance. The dance was held in the HPE Building, and the music-filled room refreshments and snacks included.
Students came in creepy and crazy costumes at the Halloween party. There was a group dressed as the Scooby-Doo gang, a zombie, Negan from The Walking Dead, and Wednesday Addams. There were many other terrifying and creative costumes.
Dancing wasn’t the only fun thing going on at this dance. There was also a brain-eating challenge held. Whoever ate half of a brain-shaped Jell-O the fastest won a $25 gift card. The winner was Russell Collier, junior.
“The brain eating contest was exciting, and I was nervous because I had to beat a minute and 23 seconds. I did it in a minute and 5 seconds,” Collier said.
