Saturday, Oct. 22, UPIKE men’s basketball had a scrimmage in the Expo Center. It was good to see the Bears back in action and with style. They played two games with the first being a close game and the second with the Bears beating King College by nearly 50 points. “It was a great experience for both teams, being able to work on what we’ve been practicing for some time now and finally putting it to the test. I think Saturday was an overall success. Best of luck to King College this season; they’re a great team and well disciplined. We have a lot to look forward to in our near future as well and I’m excited to see what’s to come,” said Darrell Dominick, one of the red shirt freshmen on the Bears roster. The Bears are full steam ahead entering the 2016-2017 season. The Bears took on Central Pennsylvania for their home opener on Monday, Oct. 24.
