Frank and Sloas finish top 30

Jonathan Sloas paced the men with a time of 31 minutes and 37.03 seconds and Molly Frank led the women with a time of 22:47.46 as the University of Pikeville cross country teams competed in the Asbury Invitational on Saturday Oct, 22. In the 5,000-meter women’s race, Morehead State took the team title with 15 points and its Mya Faris was the fastest individual with a showing of 19:43.62. The Eagles took the team title in the 8,000-meter men’s race as well with their Aaron Wier took the individual crown in 26:22.14. Frank and Sloas each finished in the top 30 of their respective races with Frank taking 20th place overall and Sloas posting a 26th-place finish.
