The UPIKE Fortnite tournament was successful on Saturday night, Sept. 22. Around 20-25 people showed up at the student lounge to participate or play in the tournament. Food and drinks were available during play which lasted close to four hours.
The way the tournament went, every player got to play three games back to back, and there was a points system based off kills per game, a top 10 finish, and a victory royale.
“It was fun to see everyone here tonight having fun and playing Fortnite. I definitely can’t wait until the next tournament,” said junior Chase Richardson who finished in first place with a combined score of 35.
“This was a good experience, and I enjoyed finally winning something,” said junior Tellis Kennedy who finished third with a combined scored of 21.
