UPIKE men’s soccer lost to Brescia on Wednesday, Sept 12. They lost 3-0 to the Bearcats. The UPIKE Bears got off 13 shots. Eric Bernabue had 4 shots and Aaron Aven had 3. Most of the shots missed wide, and few were a hair away. Though Brescia scored three times, Anibal Navarro had 7 saves. “I think that we didn’t play as well as we should have. We started with a flat tire from the start of the game and we just dug a hole we couldn’t get out of. We had shots on goal but we just needed to take advantage of those moments,” said Rze Culbreath. “We just have to move on from the game and focus on the next opposing team. We will bounce back.”
