Psi Chi is an international honor society in which the purpose is to encourage, stimulate, and uphold excellence within the individual in psychology and the advancements of the science of psychology.
Psi Chi held an induction ceremony on Tuesday, April 17, where they welcomed six new members into Psi Chi. Those that joined received a certificate, and pin.
Along with the induction ceremony, this year 12 stoles were presented to the graduating seniors. One senior, Devon Sgubin, a Psi Chi member also received the outstanding achievement award in psychology.
The ceremony was hosted in the Walters room in Wickham, where refreshments were served.
“This program is a wonderful opportunity for those who plan on going to graduate school and will be great for a resume,” Associate Professor of Psychology LeAnne Epling said.
