Rock the vote, SGA debate and elections this week on campus

It’s that time of year again, Student Government Association elections. These students who are voted into office are responsible for enhancing student life, hosting programs, sponsoring community service events on campus, contributing opinions and information to the college, and providing support to the student clubs and organizations on campus. The elected positions are President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and seven elected senators.
A debate will be held on Tuesday, March 20, at 9 p.m. between the Presidential Candidates. The election will be held from Wednesday, March 21, at midnight through Friday, March 23, at 5 p.m.
The candidates for President are Kimberly Hammond and Zakary Bray. Vice-President candidates are Ethan Tackett and Jami Young. Michaela Stidham is running for Secretary/Treasurer. Hannah Charles and Tori Breeding are running for Academic Affairs Representative. Teddy Newsome and William Wheeler are running for Social Affairs Representative and Clubs and Organization Commissioner respectfully.
