On Monday, March 5, the Communication Honor Society played games during a game night social in the student lounge. Present at game night were Rachel Little, instructor of communication; Chandra Massner, associate professor of communication; Skylar Chapman; Rob Rundle; Madyson Ferrell; Cory Fields; Zakary Bray; Billy Cochran; and Tori Breeding.
The faculty and students warmed up with a game of Apples to Apples before playing Cards Against Humanity. Pizza and other snacks were available.
“COM socials are a great way to get together with your friends and fellow classmates. It’s not only to talk about what’s going on in your life or about what’s going on in the classroom. It’s about just having a good time together, playing games. At COM socials, we usually choose between game night, Mr. Gattis, or bowling. This month we decided to have a game night. COM socials are a great way for everyone to get to know each other a little bit better and make new friends. As a senior, it is beneficial to me just because its bittersweet. It’s coming to an end. So I’m just trying to live it up as best as possible, and meet and engage with other students and try to make friends,” Rob Rundle, senior and president of the honor society, said.
