UPIKE Phonathon drive begins

UPIKE has begun its annual Phonathon to raise money for the UPIKE scholarship fund. The Phonation began on Feb.19 and will continue until March. 1 in room 134 of the Community Technical Center. Led by Brooke Thacker, donor records and stewardship coordinator, the Phonathon utilizes the help of many UPIKE students and staff volunteering to call for donations. “It gives students an opportunity to broaden their communication skills and help the university,” Megan Stepp, sophomore and Phonathon caller, said With 98 percent of UPIKE college students receiving scholarships or financial assistance, any money the Phonathon raises goes to UPIKE’S scholarship program.
