UPIKE announces Homecoming King and Queen

Rain or shine, the 2017 Homecoming weekend rallied on as it concluded with the crowning of UPIKE’s new Homecoming King and Queen. Saturday, Oct. 28 held many activities for the Bears: a football game, a men’s basketball game, a volleyball game, and the presentation of the 2017 Senior Homecoming Court.
Fans observed as the court was announced during halftime of the football game. Applause could be heard across W.C. Hambley Athletic Complex as Kaitlyn Welsh and Daniel Afeaki received their crowns. President and First Lady Webb stood alongside UPIKE’s 2016 Homecoming Queen, Maleena Little, as she passed down the tiara.
Other members of the court included: Austin Harris, Brady McClure, and Cameron Hamilton, Anna Kowalok, Lauren Vice, and Sarah Hackworth.
