Do you need help with your classes?
“The Academic Assistance Center is a program through the university. Its director is Elizabeth (Libby) Shockey. She hires students to be academic assistance individuals for any subject that they have received at least a B or higher in a class,” Anna Kowalok, tutor, said.
Kowalok tutors primarily mathematics, but she also tutors Spanish and English.
The Academic Assistance Center is open Monday through Thursday in the lower level of the Allara library.
“The Academic Assistance Center is one of the greatest resources a student has on campus,” James Roberson, tutor, said.
It helps provide students with the correct network of other students seeking the same help. Tutoring is free of charge
