Haunted Lab spooks UPIKE community

The Biology Club at the University of Pikeville (g)hosted Haunted Lab for the Pikeville community and college students on the weekend of Oct. 27 through Oct. 29. There were four levels of terror in Armington Science Center: a pitch-black room, clown floor, grudge floor and an insane asylum floor. UPIKE students in the Biology Club prepared for this event since the beginning of the fall semester. Students set up all the props in the hallways and classrooms and took down all the props after the weekend event was over. Haunted Lab volunteers scared the community throughout the weekend. These volunteers ranged from Pike County Central High School students to UPIKE students. “Working Haunted Lab was a fun experience. I got to meet new people and create new friendships,” said Jillian Bohnert, sophomore.
