Bears go to Boston

During spring break, Chaplain Robert Musick will be taking students on a mission trip to Boston, Mass. While most everyone hears about the mission trips overseas, Musick and students take other trips spread throughout the year to help people all over the country.
The group will be staying with local ministries learning about the needs and situations of urban people in need face every day. Students and Musick will be working with local organizations learning how to better serve people in need and how being in that urban environment changes the ways people live and the different complications that they face.
If by chance you are interested in participating in a mission trip, Musick has a few words. “Anybody who has those three traits, willing, servant, flexible the trip is for you,” he said. He is also willing to work with those who are interested but may not have the means or have complications such as money or transportation. All you have to do is contact him through e-mail at RobertMusick@upike.edu, calling (606) 218-5762, or stop by his office on the top floor of Record Memorial Building during office hours.
