Psi Chi raises funds

This week, Psi Chi, the UPIKE honor society for psychology majors and minors, began a raffle to raise money to buy graduation stoles for their senior members. The raffle offers several different prizes. Ticket holders have the chance to win two Christmas wreaths and gift cards to Applebee’s, Texas Roadhouse, and Wendy’s.
The cost for tickets is a dollar for one ticket or $5 for six tickets. Ticket holders only have the chance to win one item. If your ticket is drawn, you get to choose which prize you want. However, if your name is not drawn first, then you will choose from what is left. The raffle will continue until Dec. 3.
“We’re hoping to raise enough money to purchase graduation stoles so that the students do not have to purchase them with their own money,” Dr. LeAnn Epling, Psi Chi advisor, said. “This is our reward to them for all of the effort they have put into the club during their time here.”
