Soccer struggles at Cincinnati Christian

Thursday, Oct. 27. The University of Pikeville men’s soccer team lost 1-0 to Cincinnati Christian bringing its record to 2-8-1.
Cincinnati Christian led the game with total shots and shots on goal out numbering Pikeville 19-13 and 9-8. David Bungu shot the only goal for the Eagles and also led them in shots with 7.
Eddie Zavala led UPIKE with three shots and one shot on goal. Multiple Bears had two shots on goal but couldn’t get anything to connect. Tait Torstenson was in goal for the Bears and tallied up seven saves on the day.
