UPIKE is excited to announce an opportunity to study abroad for two weeks and experience the countries of England and Ireland. The trip will be from May 18- June 1, after the spring semester ends as a short conclusion to a Religion and Film hybrid class that will be offered in the Spring and co-taught by Sumer Bingham and Daryl Riffe.
Bingham teaches religion courses at UPIKE while Riffe teaches film classes. They’re working together to put together this interesting course. The course will be called Pagan Representation in Irish and British Cinema. There are 10 available spots in the class.
The estimated cost of the trip will be $3,000 and that includes all essentials including meals, flight, room and board.
“If you want to buy an souvenirs you should bring a little extra cash,” said Bingham. “We’re so beyond excited to be able to give students this opportunity. Its such a great learning experience, and it definitely will be an interesting course to be involved in. ”
