Bears kill Alice Lloyd

When it rains, it pours. UPIKE baseball jumped on Alice Lloyd as it won in a short, soggy one on Tuesday, March 1. They only played 5 innings due to the sloppy weather.
The game got started on Justin Beatty’s 3-run home run. Anthony Roberts also added support with 2 doubles and 2 RBI’s. Josh Bailey started the game pitching and ended it as well. The overall hitting was great as the Bears piled on 11 hits in the short amount of time.
“The game was sloppy, but it’s always fun to get a win,” said starting pitcher Bailey.
