Become an organ donor

UPIKE and WKU are usually rivals in sports, but this year, both schools have taken the competition to a different level: organ donation.
WKU challenged UPIKE to see which school can get the most fans to sign up to be an organ donor and get on the organ donor registry. This challenge has a personal essence to it for the UPIKE family and the men’s basketball team since Head Coach Kelly Wells is an organ donor recipient.
The Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates (KODA) has offered to support the challenge and help by providing registry forms and offering information about organ donation to those who are interested.
According to donatelife.net, more than 123,000 men, women and children currently need lifesaving organ transplants.
