Baseball fights for first win of fall season

It was a beautiful day for baseball at Johnnie Lemaster Field as Alice Lloyd took the field once again with the Bears last week for a double header.
The score of the first game in the bottom of the 7th was 6-4, and the Bears struck back with a couple of big hits, but that unfortunately wasn’t enough to get the JV Bears its first fall win.
As the team took the field for the second game, it had a chip on its shoulder because it wanted the win the first game. The bats woke up for the Bears, and they got the win against Alice Lloyd with the score 2-1, breaking the losing streak.
“It feels good to get the first win under our belts and from here on out, we just have to build on the good things we did the second game,” Zack Green said.
