Jason Stowers was the assistant athletic director and baseball coach at Alice Lloyd College before becoming the pitching coach for the University of Pikeville.
Stowers has earned many honors and also has plenty experience in the coaching field. He’s coached some of the top programs around the country and has had a lot of success. Stowers coached one of the most prestigious college leagues, the Cape Cod. These are all good signs that Stowers is a great addition to the UPIKE Bears’ baseball club.
Stowers earned a master’s degree in exercise and sport science in 2007 while attending Eastern Kentucky University. His bachelor’s degree in physical education is from Alice Lloyd College.
One of his biggest honors was serving as bullpen coach/clubhouse manager of the Bristol White Sox, Advanced Rookie League.
“I’m happy to be a part of this program and look forward to the season with the new pitching staff I get to work with,” Stowers said.
