Women’s soccer gets shutout on the road
0Oct. 19, the women’s soccer team was shut out 10-0 by 6th ranked Lindsey Wilson. The Blue Raiders took 41 shots to a UPIKE’s one. UPIKE’s Eleanor Hollingsworth took that one shot on goal, but the Blue Raiders’ goalkeeper saved it.
Senior goalkeeper Chelsea Schulte had a season-high 13 saves and 10 goals allowed. The loss makes the Lady Bears’ record 8-5, and 2-3 in the Mid-South Conference.
The Lady Bears are ready to bounce back as they travel to play Shawnee State Oct. 25, at 1:00 p.m.
