Under the direction of Director of Student Activities & Leadership Development, Luke Kopp, UPIKE has formed its first ever Inner-Greek Life Council. The goal of the council is to make Greek life more self run, sufficient, and represented better among the administration. All four Greek life organizations on campus have elected two of their members to represent them on the council. The council had its first meeting on Nov. 15 to discuss the new point system Greek life is now running and to elect a chair of the council. Senior Lauren Vice, Zeta Omega Chi Sorority President, was elected to serve as the first chairwoman of the council. “I think it’s great for me as a senior because for the most part I know all of the ropes. I love getting to have other organizations work together and become a whole to better UPIKE. It’s a great thing,” Vice said about serving as the first Inner-Greek Life chair.
