Recently, the UPIKE Overwatch season came to a close. The Bears’ record for the season was 6-4 overall, making an impression on the other branches of the UPIKE eSports program and their coach. Even after reclining into offseason, the Bears strive to improve day after day. Every member continues to give it their all in preparation for the next Fall semester. “I got used to the practice times while the season was in, so I wouldn’t be surprised if we practiced just as much, if not more while we wait for the next season to come around,” said Tyler McAuliffe, UPIKE freshman and double major in chemistry and criminal justice. Next season, the Bears plan to focus more on the team instead of their individual efforts. As for this offseason, the Bears will spend more time working on strategy.
