On Thursday, Nov. 16, the BSU and Spanish Travel club hosted a soul food dinner at the president’s home. This event was a huge success selling all 100 tickets. Students, faculty, and staff came to the event.
The event allowed students to cook food with their friends and eat a good home-cooked meal. This was also a chance for people to try soul food if they’ve never eaten it. It also allowed students and faculty to bond.
Gedarian Mosley, freshman, cooked some of the food that evening.
“It was an honor to cook for everybody, and I really enjoyed the bonding experience with people who has never tried it before,” said Mosley.
“This was a great way to bring students from all over together, and for everyone to spend quality time together,” said Dr. Burton Webb, president.
