737 delivers hope

For the 737 service on Sunday, Nov. 19, Chaplain Rob Musick spoke about how powerful hope is. Hope can change lives and keep lives going every day. Another topic of the service was how over giving the Lord is and how He loves.
One story that was shared by Nick Carillo was about a Christian singer who travels was upgraded to business class. He is just a normal man sitting with all these guys who have briefcases and suits. The singer was just sitting there and started to cry. The man sitting next to him was dazed and confused about why he broke out in tears and just ignored him. The singer couldn’t even say a single word when the flight attendant checked on him. The only thing he could say was “Lord, your love is so powerful.” He then saw Jesus on his knees next to him rocking back and forth sobbing saying that your love is so powerful and amazing. Jesus’ love that we give and show for him is being shown in return by him every day.
Hope is such a powerful thing in which to believe. A true story that was told by Musick was from an article that he read earlier in the week. The article said that a woman, 69 years old, gave life to another person. The woman, who was having issues with her liver, was on a donor list and was needing one soon based on her health. The woman got the call and headed straight to the hospital and waited for a long time before the surgery.
The woman, minutes before the surgery, called the doctor and asked if there was anyone younger on that list than her. The doctor warned her how dangerous this was, but she refused and told him to search.
There was a woman who was 23 years old who got that liver instead of her. The 23-year-old did not know until later that a woman gave her the liver she needed. She could not have shown more gratitude to the 69-year-old. The young woman said that she had hope that she would live.
Hope is powerful and as long as you have hope and love for Jesus, you will be protected. .
