The UPIKE Bears played the Eagles from Reinhardt Saturday, Oct. 28. “We went toe to toe with the number three team in the country. If we play all four quarters like we did the last two, we win this football game,” Coach Holland said. UPIKE was out scored 37 to 7 in the first half. The scene of the game was an ugly one, with temperatures in the 40’s and a heavy rain throughout. UPIKE came out of halftime with a new attitude in the second half. The Bears fought hard, bringing the game to a 44-21 score at the end of the game. Junior Taeron Brown led the Bear defense with 18 tackles on the day. Senior quarterback HaSani Warren led the Bears in passing, completing 9 passes for 158 yards and one touchdown.
