On Saturday, Oct. 7, the UPIKE Bears went up against Point University. The game was a hard fought battle but Point came out on top 34-31. The Skyhawks started early and scored the first two touchdowns in the early part of the first quarter. The Bears finally started to gather a rhythm in the later part of the first half and tied the game up going into halftime. The third and fourth quarter were much of the same, as the Bears and Skyhawks went back and forth. It was a late turnover by the Bears that proved costly in the end. “We didn’t bring our A-game and it cost us in the end,” said Coach Al Holland.
