Black Student Union (BSU) is back after two years and is welcoming all students to join and attends its events. The purpose of BSU is to create more diverse activities for the student body,
BSU President William Wheeler decided to bring the group back so that students can create more diverse relationships.
“I was interested in joining when I got here at UPIKE, but I realized the group was not active anymore, and I thought this could kind of help create more relationships,” said Wheeler.
This week, BSU members, along with the support of SGA, BUG, SSWA, and the LGBTQ club, are proud to be working with the “I’m Just Me Movement.” It is all about embracing who you are and accepting others.
