The Bears scratched and fought late in the 4th quarter as Sani Warren, Milton Shelton, and Bowen Smith scored offensive touchdowns for UPIKE. Romon Morris broke the career interception record when he returned an interception 56 yards for a touchdown. The Bears finished the game with 25 unanswered points and won by a score of 46-32. “We answered the bell this week. We fought and scratched and clawed for this one we grew up from last week,” Head Coach Al Holland said.
