UPIKE recruits for Greek Life

This past week, UPIKE’S Greek Life hosted its annual Fall Recruitment Week.
All four organizations– Delta Alpha Lambda, Delta Delta Nu, Gamma Sigma Chi, and Zeta Omega Chi– came together and worked on the first ever joint organization recruitment week. Tuesday, the fraternities (Delta Alpha Lambda and Gamma Sigma Chi) came together to host a scavenger hunt while the sororities (Delta Delta Nu and Zeta Omega Chi) hosted a craft night. That Wednesday, they all four hosted a BBQ for WUW.
Thursday, the fraternities and sororities broke into their brother/sister organizations to co-host events. Both Delta organizations hosted a family game night while the Gammas and Zetas hosted a mixer. Friday was Bid Day, which saw 14 new members join Greek Life. The Zeta Omega Chi sorority moved their Bid Day to the following week, and will be contacting people soon.
“I am crying real tears because I am so happy. Liv (Olivia Charles, Delta Delta Nu President) is the nicest person ever. I am so glad I rushed,” sophomore Kennedy Garrett said about being accepted into the Delta Delta Nu sorority.
