Career Closet helps students ‘dress for success’
0Written By Hannah Gunnell
The Career Closet is now open! Do you need professional looking attire for a class presentation? Have an interview for a job or internship and you need to dress the part? It is open Monday- Friday by appointment and offers free professional clothing to students. You can check out the clothing the Career Closet has to offer by following its Instagram page, UPIKE Career&Professional DevI, and you will have access to each #OOTW by Tori Breeding, a junior. Breeding works closely with the Career Closet under the supervision of UPIKE’s Career Counselor, Sonia Smith. If you like what you see, you can head over to the Walters Room in Wickham Hall. Career Closet is hosting a Dress to Impress event that will showcase their selection. Women’s attire will be presented on Nov. 7, 4-6 p.m. while menswear can be seen on Nov. 9 at the same time. “We are working to increase our diversity of sizes,” Smith said. For more information please contact Breeding (ToriBreeding@bears.upike.edu) or Smith (SoniaSmith@upike.edu).
