BUG kicks off

Students at UPIKE gathered in the Chapel on Monday, Jan. 30 to take part in worship with BUG. Blessed Unity of God (BUG) is a Christian group on campus that wants to spread and promote Christian values by sharing the gospel of Jesus. “Each BUG meeting, we try to present a message that students can use in their everyday lives,” the founder of BUG, Shena Shepherd, said. “Students get the chance to share their lives with one another in an environment that is Christ centered.” Last week’s speaker was Cortney Dixon, and her message was about Moses’ gifts that he had and how he used them the way that God wanted him to even though he thought he wasn’t good enough. “Cortney’s message was just what I needed to hear,” said senior, Kay Campbell. “I think God definitely led me to BUG tonight so I could hear that message.” BUG meets every Monday in the Chapel at 8:30 p.m., and all are welcome.
