Student Spotlight: ‘Dunn’ with school
0Written By David Chapman
There’s always that one person you meet in college that everyone knows and everyone loves. And when he graduates, everyone will miss him. There is no question that that one person is Brian Dunn. Dunn, a FMA senior, has been a member of the band, created props for Jenny Wiley plays, and is always willing to help with any FMA projects. As he leaves, Dunn has some memorable words about his time at UPIKE. “It’s kind of bittersweet to be leaving UPIKE. It’s great to get out and start your own life, but you’re really going to miss all the people and all the friendships that you’ve made over the years. In the four and a half years that I’ve been here, I’ve made some of the best friends that I could have asked for,” Dunn said. As he leaves UPIKE, Dunn wants to focus on his life in the real world. “For the most part, I want to just get my feet on the ground, get my bearing and start working towards my main goal, which is to do carpentry, prop making and costume making,” Dunn said. Even though he is leaving, Dunn is still keeping his hopes high. “All good things must come to an end, but the cool part about it is that there’s probably another one over the hill,” Dunn said.
