UPIKE concert band seeks musicians

If you are looking for a way to meet people and make music, or know someone who is, then consider joining the UPIKE Concert Band.
The band is currently in need of players for any brass, woodwind, and standard symphonic and concert percussion instruments.
The band has practice every Monday from 5 until 6:30 p.m. in Record Memorial room 407. It is open to all students, faculty, staff, and community members.
“When I was a student, it was the most awesome part of being a student, and I met some of my best friends through it,” said Nathan Varney, director of bands.
“I think people should join band for the experience of being around an awesome group of people,” said Brian Dunn, senior.
There is currently one concert planned for the last week of April or the first week of May, but more may be scheduled.
If you have any questions, you can contact Varney through email at NathanVarney@Upike.edu or cell phone at 606-794-4458.
