The UPIKE Esports team took part in qualifying rounds for the North American Collegiate Championship tournament on Saturday, Nov. 7. The division one team gained a win in the first round when the opposing team forfeited. “Round two was won in a landslide,” according to UPIKE esports head coach, Eric Vanhoose. Round three led UPIKE against Robert Morris University who knocked UPIKE out of the single-elimination qualifying tournament. “I am very proud of the team overall, and I look forward to playing Robert Morris again in the future,” said VanHoose. The team will be on break from regular Saturday games until Nov. 21.
