737 focuses on enternal life

n Sunday, March 22, the 737 evening service was held in Booth Auditorium. If you have never attended any of these services before, you should. The service started with a short YouTube video called,“World Water Day.” The video was about how water is not as easy to get in other countries as it is in the United States.
Following the video was a prayer led by Chaplain Rob Musick, who then introduced the featured band for the evening from Salem Methodist Church. The group sang three praise songs.
The scripture for the evening came from John 12: 20-33. The first few verses are about two men wanting to see Jesus.
Musick asked, “How many of you would like to be the person that someone wanted to get to or meet?’
In verses 25 and 26, it says, “Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life. Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me. Your life can be going in the direction that you think it should go in and you think you are on the right path, but are you really on the right path without knowing God? Are you living life for yourself or are you living it for God?”
Musick said, “Sometimes we go all in for the wrong things, and we never go all in for God.”
The service ended with another prayer, and there was an area available for people to take communion. There was also a prayer box, where people could pick up or put in a prayer request.
Everyone is welcome to attend 737 each Sunday evening!
