Saturday, Nov. 22, the No. 2 UPIKE Bears fell to the No. 19 Campbellsville, 99-78. The Bears’ shots were off Saturday night as they shot 33.8 percent from the field and were 4 of 21 from the perimeter, but despite the bad shooting, they managed to cut a 12-point lead down by two at halftime.
UPIKE had the lead in the first four minutes of the game, but the Tigers took over for the rest of the game, and UPIKE never got the lead back. UPIKE’s Kenny Manigault had the team-high with 20 points and 11 rebounds; K.K. Simmons and Jackson Hussey were behind him with 14 and 11 points.
The Bears will have a week off before they play Cincinnati-Clermont Saturday, Nov. 29, at 4 p.m.
