Men’s Basketball starts season strong

Nov. 7, the no. 2-ranked UPIKE Bears basketball team played Brescia College at home in the Expo Center for its fourth game of the year. The men come out hot and finished even hotter with the final score 101-67. The player to watch in this game, leading the team in scoring was number 24, KK Simmons, finishing with 30 points.
Nov. 8, the Bears took on Alice Lloyd at home. The Bears got off to great start creating pressure for the other team. The final score in this game was 124-77. Simmons was not afraid to shoot. For the the Bears’ fans, that wasn’t a problem because he nailed seven 3-point shots to lead the Bears with 30 points again.
